Next Monkey Outings

Next Tuesday night we’re playing our first two drink minimum show at The Comedy Store (La Jolla). We super excited to be playing with, Swim Team Improv, Mike & Chris and the La Jolla Comedy Store Players! 8pm and only $5!

After that on Thursday night we will be hosting our soon to be famous Monkey Around. Everyone is invited to to come out and see two teams formed on the spot make funny together for the 1st time, and maybe the last time. It is chance for all improvisers to come together and to do a long-form set with some of the Stage Monkeys and other SD improvisers. A lottery style drawing will be held to draw for the teams. We may have a few new groups start the night off with a few short sets. The cost is $1-$6 depending on a roll of the dice.

We almost forgot to mention we were selected to perform at the LA Improv Festival June 2 at iO West in the Loft at 9:30pm. It’s our 3rd time being selected in four years. Watch out LA the Monkeys are invading!!!

After all that join us in laughing for a good cause. As we perform at Comedy For Kesem with FOOSH and Roar Theatre. A benefit show for Camp Kesem, which is a college student run FREE summer camp for kids with a parent who has (or has had) cancer. Their one-week sleep away camps are a chance for kids 6-16 to have a fun-filled week and just be kids. Everything they do at Camp Kesem focuses on their goal of giving campers the most fun week possible, while providing the extra support and attention they need.

This Friday Night

April Outings!

We have FOUR monkey outings shows in April, mark your calendars and get to them all! Kicking things off tomorrow night at the great SideStage Improv with UCSD’s Slippery When Wet, SDSU’s IOTA ETA PI, and Mag-Five. Tickets have sold out the last three months so reserve your tickets now!

Our next show is a benefit show for San Diego Master Chorale. Come out for An Evening of Comedy variety show with stand up comedians, Master Chorale Signature Singers and us.. Oh my!

Again we are playing at up and coming, soon to be dominating, Finest City Improv’s on April 19. We will join Finest City Improv groups Red Squared and Silent Majority! Along with a few pecial guests from L.A. who wwill be down for a night of incredible improv like no other in San Diego!

March Happenings!

We have three awesome shows in the month of March. 1st up is this Friday, our show of shows at Twiggs Green Room, at 8pm $5. We are honored to have Jacquie Lowell’s Outside the Lines shortform team start the night off. You don’t want to miss this all the funny that will happen! So come get lucky with us!

Also our third Monkey Around is on March 21. Everyone is invited to to come out and see two teams formed on the spot make funny together for the 1st time and maybe the last time. Last and never least we are opening at Finest City Improv’s March 23. In a Triple Header come see us and Yukta Panda start the night off. Followed by an Amando by Rhiannon Jones and Finest City Improv team Red Squared! The night ends with a Musical improv jam with The Second City’s George Caleodis. There’s FREE parking too!

Monkey Around on Monday Night!
